Forearm crutches that are kinder on your hands
These Adult Forearm Crutches with Ergonomic Grips give you steady support on both sides, with moulded left and right handgrips shaped to fit your palm. They're sold as a pair, arrive fully assembled and hold up to 127kg.
Support that stays comfortable on longer walks
A round handle can dig into your palm when you lean on it. These grips are moulded and textured for a comfortable grip, and the left and right crutches each have their own shaped handle.
The large cuff has a 10cm inner width. You can adjust both the handle height and the distance from the cuff to the handgrip, so the crutches can be set to your arm and your height.
Durable rubber tips
Each crutch finishes in a durable hexagonal tip made from dense rubber. The frames are lightweight aluminium, and the pair weighs just 1.5kg.

Are these forearm crutches right for you?
- Usually suits: adults up to 127kg who need walking support on both sides and want a more comfortable grip than a standard round handle.
- Check first: your handle height needs to fall between 84cm and 109.5cm (see the steps below).
- Good to know: forearm crutches take some upper body strength and balance. If you're not sure which walking aid suits you, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or physiotherapist.
Choosing the right height
- Stand up straight in the shoes you usually wear, with your arms relaxed by your sides.
- Measure the handle height. Ask someone to measure from the floor to the crease of your wrist. That's where the handgrip should sit.
- Check the range. If your measurement is between 84cm and 109.5cm, these crutches will adjust to suit.
- Set the cuff. The cuff sits on your forearm below the elbow. Adjust it between 23cm and 30.5cm from the handgrip so it doesn't press into the elbow crease.
Your physiotherapist can fine-tune the setting for you. Email us your measurement if you'd like us to check it.
