Collapsible Basket Stretcher Built for Aviation and Emergency Rescue

The AeroRescue STR-09 Collapsible Basket Stretcher is designed for patient recovery in emergency situations, including where lifting and helicopter transport are required. It folds in half for more compact storage and easier handling.
Designed for Emergency Patient Transport
This rescue stretcher is made for challenging environments where a standard ambulance stretcher cannot easily reach. The manufacturer's intended purpose is transporting a patient from an emergency site that is not readily accessible, such as mountain or marine rescue or difficult indoor situations like narrow corridors and steep stairways. It is designed to be lightweight, simple to operate and easily transported by one or two people.
Aviation Stretcher Compatible With Helicopter Lifting
The basket stretcher is compatible with helicopter lifting and secure in-air transport. The structure resists fire, corrosion and environmental wear, and it operates across a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. In Australia, stretchers must only be lifted by crane when placed inside a certified rescue cage. The STR-09 can be used with hoists but not directly with cranes (see AS 1418.17).
Secure Restraint and Easy Handling
Twelve handholds make carrying easier, and 22 restraint attachment points plus 4 grommets for accessories let you secure the patient and gear. An adjustable foot-securing mechanism and a tension-hook footplate with a 1-strap setup hold the patient in position. A bridle, footplate and 3 restraint straps are included.

Care and Limitations
Not suitable for water or high-angle rescue. Do not clean with acetone, bleach, strong acids or alkalis, or halogenated solvents. Check regularly for cracks, rivets, footplate, mattress, straps and pins. A test-and-tagged bridle is available separately.
