A strong, wide shower chair for safer seated showering
The Bariatric Shower Chair with Arms 200kg lets you shower sitting down, on a lightweight powder coated aluminium frame rated to 200kg. Side arms help you lower yourself onto the seat and rise from it, and the seat height adjusts from 42cm to 57cm.
Shower with more comfort and less worry
If standing for long is hard, showering can feel risky. A shower chair lets you bathe while you stay seated, which gives you comfort and stability and greatly reduces the chance of slipping and falling.
Support getting on and off the seat
The side cross bars give you something solid to hold as you sit down and stand up. The moulded backrest supports you while you wash.
Set to the right height
The legs adjust in 25.4mm (1 inch) steps between 42cm and 57cm. Drainage holes in the seat stop water building up, and non-slip tips on the legs help the chair stay put on a wet floor.

Is this bariatric shower chair right for you?
- Usually suits: people who can't stand for long periods and want to shower seated, including larger users up to 200kg.
- Check first: the base is 62cm wide and 63cm deep, so measure your shower recess before you order. It needs a flat floor area at least that size.
- Not included: it doesn't swivel and has no wheels. If you need to be wheeled into the shower, ask us about a mobile shower commode.

Choosing the right fit for your shower
- Measure the shower floor. Measure the width and depth of the flat floor area. The chair's base needs 62cm wide by 63cm deep.
- Check the doorway or screen opening. The chair has to fit through it to get into the shower.
- Set the seat height. Sitting on a firm chair with your feet flat, measure from the floor to the back of your knee. Pick the setting between 42cm and 57cm that's closest.
- Check the seat width. The seat is 45cm wide with 49cm between the arms. Measure across your hips when seated and email us if it's close.
