It pairs a castellated foam surface with a sturdy U-shaped foam base and firm side walls, so you get a comfortable surface to lie on and a solid edge to sit on when getting in and out of bed. It comes in Single and King Single sizes for home beds, aged care and hospital-style beds.

How the Premium Care Is Put Together

The top layer is cut into small foam squares (castellations), with designated zones for the head, middle and feet. Cobalt uses smaller castellations at the head and foot ends and an ultra-soft, tapered heel section, so the areas that take the most weight get the softest support. The channels between the squares let air move through the surface, which helps it stay cooler through the night. Underneath, a firm foam base and side walls keep the mattress stable and stop the edge from collapsing when you sit on it.
