A soft cotton layer between skin and splint

Cotton Splint Socks with Thumb Hole slip on under a hand or wrist splint and give the skin a soft, breathable layer to rest against. Each pack holds 10 socks, so a clinic or home user can swap in a fresh one whenever it's needed.

Why You'll Love The Cotton Splint Socks with Thumb Hole

  1. Mercerised cotton outer. The yarn is treated to resist abrasion and absorb moisture, so it holds up to repeated wear.
  2. Microfibre inner layer. Nylon and elastane draw moisture away from the skin and add stretch.
  3. Thumb hole design. The thumb passes through an opening, leaving it free while the sock covers the hand and forearm.
  4. Pack of 10. Plenty to rotate through the week without running short.

Your day, with the Cotton Splint Socks with Thumb Hole

The microfibre inside draws moisture away from the skin, and the stretch lets you move your fingers and wrist easily. The cotton outside washes without going hard, so the sock stays soft wash after wash.

The Cotton Splint Socks with Thumb Hole in a nutshell

  1. Two sizes: Small/Medium and Medium/Large.
  2. Two colours: grey or off-white.
  3. Two layers: cotton outside, stretchy microfibre inside.

Choosing the right size and colour

These socks come in Small/Medium and Medium/Large. Performance Health doesn't publish measurements for each size, so we won't guess them. We'll confirm with the supplier before you order.

  1. Use your therapist's size. If your therapist has named a size, order that one.
  2. No size given? Email us the wrist and forearm circumference in cm and the splint or cast it will go under.
  3. Colour. Grey and off-white are the same sock, so pick the one you prefer.

Is it the right splint sock for you?

  • A good fit: a soft cotton layer under a hand or wrist splint that leaves the thumb free.
  • Thumb free: the thumb passes through a hole. If the splint covers the thumb, a thumb spica sock suits better.
  • Check with your therapist first: if the skin under the splint is broken or fragile.

Not sure which size suits the splint you use? We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or treating therapist.
