A full-size carbon fibre rollator built for walking outdoors
The Drive Nitro Elite Carbon Fibre Rollator is a full-size, four-wheel walker with a carbon fibre frame, large 10 inch front casters and brake cables hidden inside the frame. It suits taller users who walk outdoors on footpaths and paved paths and want a rollator that rolls smoothly and looks sleek. It folds side to side with one pull on the seat handle and comes with a removable zippered bag, a backrest and a cane holder.
Before you buy, please read the Is it the right rollator for you? section below. This is a full-size outdoor rollator, not an ultra-light travel walker. It weighs 6.8kg for the frame alone, or 7.3kg with the bag fitted (backrest weight not included).

How it folds
- To fold: pull up on the handle on the seat. The two sides come together, and they click when locked.
- To unfold: pull the handles apart to unlock, stand it on its wheels and press the seat tubes down until they lock.
- Lifting: it weighs 7.3kg (16lb) with the bag fitted, or 6.8kg (15lb) with the bag removed. Neither weight includes the backrest. If lifting it into a car boot is a concern, take the bag off first or ask someone to help.
Is the Nitro Elite Carbon Fibre the right rollator for you?
- Usually suits: taller users who walk mostly outdoors on footpaths and other firm, even surfaces, and who want large wheels and a smooth roll.
- Your weight: up to 108kg. Drive rates it to 136kg; we recommend staying at least 20% under that for long-term strength and stability.
- Your handle height: stand in your everyday shoes with your arms relaxed by your sides and measure from the floor to the crease of your wrist. It should fall between 82.6 and 95.3cm.
- Your seat: the seat is 45.1cm wide and 52.7cm off the floor.
- Check first if: you'll use it mostly indoors in narrow hallways or small rooms, you'll need to lift it into a car on your own, or you have limited grip, hand or back strength. The large wheels and full-size frame that help outdoors can feel bulky inside, and folding takes a firm pull.
- Better options for those needs: a lighter, more compact rollator such as our Compact Portable Lightweight Rollator, or a Narrow Walker for Small Doorways for indoor use.
- Not for: moving while seated. It's a walking aid, not a wheelchair. Drive says to use it only on even, solid surfaces, and to sit only on flat ground with both brakes locked.
