If your feet sit hard against the footboard, or you keep sliding down to make room, the bed is simply too short for you. The extension fits at the foot end with no tools, so you keep the bed you already have. It can go on with a new bed or be added to one you've had for years.

1. Check your bed is a Cobalt K-Dee II or K-Dee Classic.
2. Check whether it's a single or king single. The single extension is 90cm wide and the king single is 107cm wide.
