A Monitor Defibrillator Built for Hospital and EMS Teams
The LIFEPAK 35 Monitor Defibrillator puts defibrillation and patient monitoring on one platform, so ambulance crews, emergency departments and critical care units can treat and assess from the same device. It has a 10.4" high-definition touchscreen, an IP55-rated case and a dual-battery system rated for nine hours of monitoring. It comes in 11 factory configurations, from a 3-lead unit with SpO2 and EtCO2 up to 12-lead units with invasive pressure and temperature. It is intended for use by trained medical professionals.
Lead time: Special order item. Dispatch timing depends on the configuration:
- D18 (3-Lead SpO2 EtCO2): please allow approximately 20 days for dispatch.
- All other configurations: special order. Contact us for the current dispatch estimate before ordering.
Special order, non-refundable: each LIFEPAK 35 is ordered from the manufacturer in your chosen configuration, so it can't be returned or refunded for change of mind. Please confirm your configuration with us before ordering. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty.
Which LIFEPAK 35 Configuration Is Right for You?
Every configuration has the same defibrillator, screen, batteries and case. The difference is the monitoring fitted at the factory. Work through these five questions and you'll be down to one or two codes.
- Do you need 12-lead ECG? Pick 12-lead if your team identifies or transmits heart attacks (STEMI) before hospital or in the emergency department. That's standard for ambulance and ED teams. 3-lead shows heart rhythm only. It suits patient transport, ward cover and monitoring a patient whose diagnosis is already known, and it costs less.
- Do you manage airways or run CPR? EtCO2 (capnography) confirms a breathing tube is in the right place and shows how well CPR is working. If your crews intubate or place supraglottic airways, choose a code with EtCO2: D18, D17 or D16.
- Do your patients already have arterial or central lines? Invasive pressure (IP) and temperature are for critical care: ICU, inter-hospital retrieval and transfers to and from theatre. Note that the IP configurations don't include EtCO2.
- Which pressure transducers does your hospital stock? The IP configurations come in two versions to suit the two LIFEPAK invasive pressure cables. ICU codes suit ICU Medical Transpac IV transducers. EDW codes suit Edwards Lifesciences TruWave transducers. Match the code to the transducers already on your wards so you don't need a second consumable line.
- Do you attend fires or suspected carbon monoxide poisoning? SpCO reads carbon monoxide in the blood through a finger sensor, with no blood test needed. D16 adds it to the standard ambulance build. D30 adds SpCO, SpMet (methaemoglobin, which some drugs and chemicals raise) and three temperature channels, but has no EtCO2 or invasive pressure.
| Your setting | Suggested code |
|---|---|
| Ambulance or paramedic crew (12-lead, airway, CPR) | D17 |
| Fire, rescue, hazmat or smoke inhalation calls | D16 |
| Patient transport, first response or event medical (rhythm and airway monitoring) | D18 (fastest dispatch) |
| ICU or critical care retrieval, 12-lead, ICU Medical transducers | D13 |
| ICU or critical care retrieval, 12-lead, Edwards transducers | D34 |
| Critical care transfers needing rhythm only (3-lead) | D15 (ICU Medical) or D14 (Edwards) |
| Toxicology and CO-oximetry with temperature monitoring | D30 |
D31 and D33 carry the same parameter list as D13, and D32 the same as D34, but they cost more, so the factory build differs in a way the manufacturer's code list doesn't spell out. If a tender or fleet spec names one of these codes, call us and we'll confirm the exact build before you order.

Defibrillation and Monitoring in One Unit
Running defibrillation and monitoring from one device means less equipment at the bedside or in the vehicle. The manufacturer lists 12/15-lead ECG with STJ Insight on supported configurations, cprINSIGHT analysis technology, and a paediatric AED mode that delivers escalating biphasic energy from 1J to 360J. The screen shows up to 11 monitoring parameters at once and works with double gloves on.
Built for Rough Handling
- IP55 rated: protected against dust and water for use in the field.
- Chemically strengthened, impact-tested glass: the display is tested to withstand direct impacts and drops, and the unit is tested against severe impacts and extreme vibration.
- FLEX lithium-ion dual batteries: nine hours of monitoring, with a typical five-hour charge time for one or two fully depleted batteries.
- Wi-Fi or Bluetooth data transfer: send patient data on without cables.
- 50 patient records: each record holds up to 12 hours.
