Wrist support and gradual finger and thumb positioning in one splint
The SoftPro Grip Splint holds the wrist in the position your therapist chooses, while a palmar roll sits in the palm of a fisted hand. Two foam rolls come in the box, the second slightly larger than the first, so the fingers can be eased open step by step. The bend-to-fit frame shapes by hand without heat or tools, and soft Kool-Wick covers keep it cooler and drier.
Built for a hand that stays closed
SoftPro designed the Grip Splint for moderate to severe wrist, hand and finger stiffness or flexion contractures, and for radial or ulnar deviation of the hand. The palmar bar fits comfortably into the palm of a fisted hand. As range of motion improves, the therapist swaps to the larger roll and re-shapes the frame to hold the new position.
Cooler, drier, easy to keep clean
The washable Kool-Wick covers wick moisture away from the skin, and the fabric is treated with Bacti-Ban. An extra liner comes in the box, so you can wash one while the other is worn.

Is the SoftPro Grip Splint right for you?
- Usually suits: moderate to severe wrist, hand and finger stiffness or flexion contractures, radial or ulnar deviation of the hand, or joint positioning in rheumatoid arthritis, where a therapist wants the fingers eased open over time.
- Check with your therapist first: on the wrist position, which roll to start with and wearing time.
- Included: two palmar rolls and an extra liner.
This splint is best fitted and monitored by a trained therapist. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or treating clinician about selection, fitting and wearing time.
Choosing the right size and side
SoftPro sizes this splint by the width across the MP joints (the big knuckles). Measure the hand the splint is for, opened out as far as it comfortably goes, or ask your therapist to measure.
- Measure the knuckle width (A). Straight across the back of the hand at the big knuckles, from the index finger knuckle to the little finger knuckle.
- Read the chart. Pick the size whose MP joint width covers your measurement. SoftPro also lists a length for each size; email us if you'd like us to check it against the hand.
- Between sizes? Email us the measurement and we'll confirm the fit.
- Choose the side. Order Left for the left hand and Right for the right hand.
| Size | MP joint width | Length |
