Secure strap fastening for orthoses, with a flush finish inside
Speedy Rivets are nickel-plated rivets for fastening straps onto an orthosis. Set the cap on the inside and hand hammer it until it sits flush with the splinting material, so nothing projects into the splint. They come in small, medium and large, 100 to a pack, and every size fits a 1/8in (3.2mm) hole.
Straps that stay put, with a smooth inside
To fit a strap to a new orthosis, punch a 1/8in hole, set the rivet with the cap on the inside and tap it flush. The strap stays put. The inside of the splint stays smooth against the skin.
