The Step Stool with Handrail Height Adjustable gives you a firm step and a tall rail to grip while you step on and off, and while you reach. It's made from light tubular aluminium with a non-slip rubber mat on the step, and it's rated to 120kg.

Something to hold while you step up

Getting on and getting off are the trickiest moments on any step stool. The handrail gives you a support point for both. The step adjusts from 27.5cm to 37.5cm high and the handgrip from 99.5cm to 109.5cm, so you can set each one to suit you.

Wide, grippy step

The 40 x 33cm platform has a ribbed rubber mat underfoot. The whole stool weighs 2.6kg, light enough to carry between rooms.

Please note: don't over-reach while standing on the stool. Leaning too far can tip it over and cause a serious injury. Get down and move the stool closer instead.

Choosing the right settings

1. Set the step as low as you can. The step adjusts from 27.5cm to 37.5cm. A lower step is easier and safer to get on and off.
2. Set the handgrip. The grip adjusts from 99.5cm to 109.5cm. Pick a height you can hold comfortably while standing on the step.
3. Check the floor. Use the stool on a flat, dry floor so all four feet sit evenly.
