SX Phlebotomy Chair
The SX Phlebotomy Chair is built for pathology collection rooms and GP blood-draw suites that run patient after patient without a break. Purpose-designed arm rests bring the patient's arm to the right angle for the draw, then flip up out of the way the moment the chair is needed as a treatment table, so one chair covers two jobs in a multi-discipline practice.
Lead time: Custom built to order by the manufacturer. Please allow up to 8 weeks for dispatch. Because it is made to your specification, this item is non-refundable for change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods still apply.
THIS PRODUCT MAY NOT BE RIGHT FOR YOU. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BEFORE PURCHASE.
Built for the working day
- Multi-angle adjustable arm rests - move in 15 degree increments and flip up for seating access or bed-position use, so the same chair supports blood collection or general treatment work.
- Gas strut backrest - manual adjustment up to 65 degrees, so staff can reposition a patient quickly between draws without waiting on a motor.
- Electric height adjustment with foot switch - hands-free height control from 470mm to 980mm, so the phlebotomist keeps both hands free during the procedure.
- SX X-frame lift action - engineered to minimise pinch and crush points, with heavy duty individually lockable castors for a stable, secure base during the draw.
- Antimicrobial vinyl, CFC-free foam - durable, easy-clean upholstery over 75mm comfort foam, on a powder-coated, rust-resistant frame built for repeated daily use.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, with a 10-year structural warranty, 5-year electrical warranty and 3-year upholstery warranty (parts only).

Delivery
Standard delivery is included in the price. It is made to order and ships direct from the manufacturer.
Tailgate delivery (included)
A one-person delivery to the nearest entrance of your building. The packed chair is heavy, so have at least two people ready to move it inside. Packaging isn't removed with this service. The carrier is asked to phone before arrival, but that call isn't guaranteed.
Premium 2-man delivery (+$300)
Two people deliver the chair into your room, unpack it, put it in position and take all the packaging away. A delivery time is arranged with you beforehand. Choose Premium 2-Man Delivery from the Delivery options above, and tell us about any access problems such as spiral stairs, narrow doorways or low ceilings, because the price doesn't cover them.
Delivery times and unpacking
Deliveries are made by external carriers between 9am and 5pm, so an exact time can't be given. It arrives on a pallet, wrapped to protect it in transit. Read the service manual that comes with it before first use.
