Take your oxygen with you on the wheelchair

The Wheelchair Oxygen Cylinder Holder holds an oxygen cylinder up to 12cm in diameter on the back of a wheelchair. Your oxygen stays upright and close by, so you or your carer don't need to carry it separately when you head out.

Strong and simple to fit

The bracket is chrome-finished steel and attaches easily to the wheelchair. It fits any wheelchair where the rear step tube is 22mm in diameter.

Fits the left side only

The holder is designed for the left hand side of the wheelchair, as you look at it standing behind the chair. Please check your chair has room on that side before ordering.

Features

  • Holds cylinders up to 12cm diameter: keeps oxygen upright on the chair.
  • Chrome steel: a strong, easy-clean finish.
  • Easy to attach: fits a 22mm rear step tube.
  • Left side mounting: as viewed from behind the chair.

Will it fit your wheelchair?

  1. Measure the rear step tube. This is the low tube at the back of the chair, near the rear wheels. It needs to be 22mm in diameter.
  2. Measure your oxygen cylinder. It needs to be no more than 12cm across.
  3. Check the left side. Standing behind the chair, make sure there's space on the left for the cylinder.

Safety note: attaching objects to a wheelchair can change its centre of gravity and may cause it to tip, which could result in serious injury. Always check the holder and cylinder are suitable for your wheelchair before use. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or oxygen supplier about carrying oxygen on a wheelchair.
