Best Electrotherapy & TENS
Looking for a TENS machine that's built for regular use? We stock dual channel TENS and NMES units, EMG biofeedback, TENS electrodes and gels, all in one place. It's electrotherapy equipment for clinics and home users, from an Australian family business that's here to help.
TENS machines and muscle stimulators
Our units come from Verity NeuroTrac, Metron and Saebo. Each one has two channels, so you can run two pairs of electrodes at once.
TENS units
The Metron Pro TENS unit is a simple dual channel machine with a timer and carry case. The NeuroTrac Rehab combines TENS and NMES programs in one unit, which suits clinics that want one device for several uses.
NMES muscle stimulators and EMG biofeedback
NMES units deliver pulses set up to make a muscle contract. Choose the NeuroTrac Sports or the SaeboStim Pro, a compact unit often used in upper limb rehab programs.
The NeuroTrac MyoPlus2 Pro adds EMG biofeedback. It reads muscle activity and shows it on screen through the wireless software kit, so you and your client can see each contraction.
TENS electrodes, gels and accessories
Good contact matters. Fresh electrodes and the right gel keep sessions comfortable and consistent.
TENS electrode pads and adaptors
Pick from Axelgaard PALS foam and pigtail electrodes, Metron and ValuTrode cloth electrodes, and Uni-Patch non-adhesive carbon electrodes. Snap adaptors let you use snap-style pads with pigtail leads. We also carry NeuroTrac lead wires and a rechargeable 9V battery.
Ultrasound gel and electrode gel
Aquasonic 100 and Metron ultrasound gel come in 5 litre refills for busy treatment rooms. Parker Spectra 360 is a salt-free electrode gel for carbon electrodes.
Pelvic floor probes
The Neen Periform+ and Anuform probes connect to compatible stimulation and EMG units such as the NeuroTrac range. Each probe is for single-person use.
Heat and cold therapy
Round out the treatment room with the Therabath PRO paraffin wax bath and refill wax, or the Polar Ice cold compression wrap for the knee. Need somewhere to treat? Browse our treatment tables.
TENS machine FAQs
What's the difference between TENS and EMS?
TENS sends small electrical pulses to the nerves under the skin. EMS (also called NMES) is set up to make muscles contract. Some units, like the NeuroTrac Rehab, do both.
How often should I replace TENS electrode pads?
Replace them once they stop sticking evenly. Clean, dry skin and storing pads on their backing sheet help them last longer.
Do I need gel with TENS pads?
Not with self-adhesive pads. Non-adhesive carbon electrodes need a conductive electrode gel such as Spectra 360. Ultrasound gel is made for ultrasound machines.
Is a TENS machine suitable for everyone?
No. People with a pacemaker or heart condition, epilepsy, or who are pregnant should check with their doctor first. Always read the instructions for use.
