Low Voltage Rescue Kit | REGULATOR Extreme
Low Voltage Rescue Kit for Electrical Workplaces
The REGULATOR Low Voltage Extreme Rescue Kit is built for responders working on or near live low voltage equipment. It brings rescue tools and first aid essentials together in one robust, waterproof case, ready when an incident occurs. It suits substations, switch rooms, industrial plants and workshops.
What Is in the Kit
- Insulated Gloves Pair, 1000V, Size 11 (IEC 60903) - Australian-made and AS2225-compliant, for insulation performance when used correctly as part of a broader safety system.
- AERORESCUE Low Voltage Rescue Hook, tested to 15kV - lets a trained responder reach and move a person away from energised equipment without direct contact.
- 'Isolate Here' Plastic Sign, 20 x 30cm - hangs at the isolation point so the circuit isn't re-energised mid-rescue.
- EVL Dolphin 2in1 Waterproof Torch with Red Light - lights the scene and marks the hazard zone in low light or at night.
- AEROBURN Low-Adherent Burn Dressing, 75 x 220cm - large enough for an electrical burn, non-stick to reduce trauma on removal.
- AEROMASK CPR Mask in Hard Cover - a hygienic barrier for rescue breaths, protected in its case until needed.
- Fire Blanket, Large, 1.2m x 1.8m - smothers flames or wraps a casualty, sized for an adult.
- AEROGUIDE First Aid Booklet - a step by step reference so responders aren't relying on memory alone.
All of it sits in a heavy-duty waterproof case with reflective accents and a custom foam insert, so each item stays organised and easy to find under pressure. There is also space for a compatible AED, so the kit layout supports CPR and defibrillation. The AED itself is not included.
How the Kit Supports a Low Voltage Incident Response
The kit is built around a simple sequence: isolate the hazard, reach the person safely, then treat and support them until help arrives. The 'Isolate Here' sign marks the point once power is cut. The insulated gloves and 15kV rescue hook let a trained responder reach and move a casualty without becoming a second casualty themselves. From there, the burn dressing, CPR mask and fire blanket support first aid and, if needed, CPR until emergency services take over. This sequence should always follow your site's own electrical safety and rescue procedures - the kit supports a trained response, it doesn't replace one.
Who This Kit Suits
This kit suits organisations where people work on or near live low voltage equipment: electrical contractors, facilities and maintenance teams responsible for switch rooms and substations, industrial plants with in-house electrical crews, and utilities needing a rescue kit at a fixed site or on a service vehicle. It's built as a stocked, ready-to-go kit for a safety officer or WHS manager equipping a workplace electrical rescue program, not as a substitute for that program.
What's Not Included (and Why)
An AED is not included, though the case has space for a compatible unit if your site already carries one. The kit is designed for low voltage work, with insulating gloves rated to 1000V; it is not intended for medium or high voltage rescue, which calls for different equipment and training. And like any rescue kit, it's only as good as the people using it: it doesn't include training, and it doesn't replace your site's electrical safety and rescue procedures or a call to emergency services.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Let customers speak for us
from 606 reviewsIt is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
Easy to find products online, ordering is very easy very competitive prices and extremely fast delivery
The Assistance Handle has been amazing for my husband who has just had a Quadricep Rupture repair. He used it to help him get in and out of the car whilst keeping his leg straight.
Grab Rail very suitable for our shower
Lightweight yet sturdy perfect for stability
Excellent, folds up neatly to fit in the boot of my daughter’s small car. Takes up little room when dining out.I feel very safe when walking.
