Cobalt M02 3 Layer Memory Foam Pressure Care Mattress, King Single
A Comfortable Memory Foam Care Mattress for Home and Aged Care
The Cobalt M02 3 Layer Memory Foam Pressure Care Mattress is a king single foam mattress with a soft memory foam top and two firmer support layers underneath. It comes with a water resistant, removable PU cover that's easy to keep clean, making it a sensible, cost-effective care mattress for home, aged care or lighter-weight users.
Dispatched from our Australian supplier's NSW warehouse, usually within 2-7 business days.
Why a Layered Foam Mattress Feels Different
The top layer is high-density memory foam. It softens with body warmth and moulds to the shape of the person lying on it, so they sink in a little rather than lying on top of a firm surface. Below it, two support layers of firmer foam give steady support underneath, so it doesn't feel too soft.
The cover matters as much as the foam in a care setting. This one is a 4-way stretch PU fabric that moves with the foam, keeps spills out, and lets moisture vapour escape. The zip runs around the underside, out of the way of fluids, and the cover comes off for machine washing.
Features
- 3-layer foam construction. 60D high-density memory foam on top, a 30D support layer and a 35D base layer.
- Latex-free foams. Cobalt states the viscoelastic foams are free of latex.
- 4-way stretch PU cover. Water resistant and vapour permeable.
- Concealed zip on the underside. A waterfall zip on three sides lowers the chance of fluid getting in.
- Removable, machine washable cover. Washable up to 95 degrees, and replaceable if it wears out.
- Fire retardant cover and foam. Cover meets the CAL 117 flame retardant standard.
- Long warranty. 5 years on the foam and 2 years on the cover.
Is the M02 Mattress Right for You?
It usually suits you if you:
- are setting up a king single care bed at home or in aged care
- want a soft, moulding surface with an easy-clean cover
- want a foam care mattress without a pump or power lead
Good to know before you order:
- Cobalt rates the M02 for people assessed as low to medium risk of pressure injury. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider about which level of support is right.
- The recommended user weight is 30-150kg, and the safe working load is 250kg.
- This listing is the king single size (105cm wide). Check your bed base width before ordering.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Let customers speak for us
from 606 reviewsIt is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
Easy to find products online, ordering is very easy very competitive prices and extremely fast delivery
The Assistance Handle has been amazing for my husband who has just had a Quadricep Rupture repair. He used it to help him get in and out of the car whilst keeping his leg straight.
Grab Rail very suitable for our shower
Lightweight yet sturdy perfect for stability
Excellent, folds up neatly to fit in the boot of my daughter’s small car. Takes up little room when dining out.I feel very safe when walking.
