Stainless Steel Mobile Shower Commode with Pan, 46cm Seat, 200kg SWL
One Mobile Commode for the Shower, Toilet and Bedside
The Cobalt Mobile Shower Commode is a stainless steel commode chair on four braked castors, made for a carer to wheel between the bedroom, the shower and the toilet. It comes with a pan and pan carrier, so it doubles as a bedside commode, and it has a 46cm seat with a 200kg safe working load.
Dispatched from our Australian supplier's NSW warehouse, usually within 2-7 business days.
Fewer Transfers Between Rooms
Getting from bed to toilet to shower can mean three or four separate transfers, and each one takes effort from you and from whoever is helping. With a mobile shower commode you sit down once and the chair does the travelling. Your carer wheels it into the shower, over the toilet or back beside the bed. The hand grips flip up out of the way for side transfers, and the footplate slides out when it isn't needed.
Features
- Stainless steel frame. Built for daily use in a wet bathroom, with a 5-year frame warranty.
- Attendant propelled. Designed to be pushed by a carer, and all four castors have brakes.
- Flip-up, multi-position hand grips. Swing them up to clear the way for transfers, or set them where they're easiest to hold.
- Slide-out footplate. A weight-bearing footplate to rest your feet on, which slides out of the way when you stand.
- Soft polyurethane open-front seat. Comfortable to sit on and easy to keep clean.
- Anti-bacterial seat and hand grips. The parts you touch most are anti-bacterial.
- Pan and pan carrier included. Slide the pan in and it works as a bedside commode overnight.
Seat Size and Fit
- 46cm seat: 49cm between the arms, 53cm overall width, 200kg safe working load.
The seat height is 58cm and the overall height is 102cm.
Is the Cobalt Mobile Shower Commode Right for You?
It usually suits you if you:
- have a carer or family member who can push the chair from room to room
- want one chair for showering, the toilet and bedside use
- would like to cut down on transfers between the bedroom and bathroom
Good to know before you order:
- It's attendant propelled. It has no large rear wheels, so you can't move it yourself.
- The seat height is 58cm. To use it over your toilet, check the toilet fits underneath the seat.
- For advice on transfers or bathroom set-up, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Stainless Steel Mobile Shower Commode with Pan, 46cm Seat, 200kg SWL Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 606 reviewsIt is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
Easy to find products online, ordering is very easy very competitive prices and extremely fast delivery
The Assistance Handle has been amazing for my husband who has just had a Quadricep Rupture repair. He used it to help him get in and out of the car whilst keeping his leg straight.
Grab Rail very suitable for our shower
Lightweight yet sturdy perfect for stability
Excellent, folds up neatly to fit in the boot of my daughter’s small car. Takes up little room when dining out.I feel very safe when walking.
