AED Cabinet Stand | Freestanding Indoor & Outdoor Mount
Secure Your AED Stand for Instant Emergency Access
Ever feel the rising anxiety of not having a secure, visible, and accessible location for your life-saving AED, especially in large, open areas without suitable walls? This critical placement gap can create dangerous delays in a sudden cardiac emergency, where every second counts. The Freestanding AED Cabinet Mounting Stand is the definitive solution, providing the peace of mind that comes from knowing your AED is ready and waiting, exactly where it's needed most.
A Versatile Freestanding AED Cabinet Stand Solution
This is the perfect option for mounting AEDs in parks, beaches, stadiums, carparks, shopping centres or other open areas. The intelligent design does not require wall-fixing, enabling the AED to be placed in any area with a solid floor. This allows your AED to service previously inaccessible areas, ensuring broader safety coverage and ultimate accessibility.
Rugged Outdoor AED Stand Built for Australian Conditions
With a sturdy yet sleek and minimalist design, this stand is made in Australia to withstand harsh conditions. Australian-made from 5mm powder coated steel, this one-piece AED stand will stand the test of time, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It ensures your AED remains stable and secure, ready for an emergency.
Functional AED Mounting Pole Design
Designed for use with any of the CardiAct AED cabinets, this stand is compatible with all AEDs. The required stainless steel fixings are provided for straightforward installation. The sleek and minimalist design of the AED mounting pole is both functional and modern, with clear signage making the AED easily identifiable and accessible for quick access in emergencies.
What's Included, and What Isn't
- The stand itself, one-piece, 5mm powder coated steel, so there's nothing to weld or bolt together on site.
- Stainless steel fixings, so you have everything you need to secure the base to the floor without a separate trip to the hardware shop.
- The AED cabinet is sold separately. This listing is the stand only. Choose any CardiAct AED cabinet from our range below and it will mount straight onto the top plate.
Pairs with: Outdoor AED Cabinet Shroud Cover, Alarmed Outdoor AED Cabinet, or Secure Outdoor AED Cabinet with Alarm & Lock.
Will This Suit Your Site?
This stand is freestanding, not wall mounted, but it still needs to be bolted down for stability, especially outdoors where wind and knocks are a real risk. Before you order, check your site against these three points:
- Floor type: needs a solid, level surface the supplied fixings can anchor into, such as concrete, pavers or a similarly solid slab. It is not designed for grass, gravel, or soft or reinforced timber decking.
- Indoor or outdoor: the steel construction and powder coat finish suit both, so the same stand works in a foyer, a car park or an open park.
- Reach height: the pole stands 1.36 m tall. The exact height of your AED once mounted depends on the cabinet you choose, so check that cabinet's own mounting dimensions for accessible reach.
Not sure your floor will take it? Contact us before you order and we can help you work out whether this stand or a wall mounted cabinet suits your site better.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

AED Cabinet Stand | Freestanding Indoor & Outdoor Mount Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 606 reviewsIt is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
Easy to find products online, ordering is very easy very competitive prices and extremely fast delivery
The Assistance Handle has been amazing for my husband who has just had a Quadricep Rupture repair. He used it to help him get in and out of the car whilst keeping his leg straight.
Grab Rail very suitable for our shower
Lightweight yet sturdy perfect for stability
Excellent, folds up neatly to fit in the boot of my daughter’s small car. Takes up little room when dining out.I feel very safe when walking.
