Height Adjustable Bed Cradle 54-68cm Steel Frame
Keep the weight of your bedding off your feet and legs
This Height Adjustable Bed Cradle slides under your mattress and forms a frame over the lower part of your body, so sheets and blankets rest on the frame instead of on your feet and legs. It's made from white powder coated steel, adjusts from 54cm to 68cm high and weighs just 3kg.
Why a bed cradle helps
When your feet or legs are sore or sensitive, even a light blanket can press down all night. A bed cradle lifts the covers into a tent shape, so you stay warm and your legs and feet have room to move.
Simple to fit
The base sits flat under the mattress and the upper section runs across the bed, over the lower part of your body. The weight of the mattress holds it in place. No tools needed.
Features
- Keeps bedding off your feet and legs: the frame takes the weight of sheets and blankets.
- Height adjustable: set the cradle anywhere from 54cm to 68cm high.
- Fits under the mattress: the base slides under, so nothing sits on the floor.
- Easy to install: no tools needed.
- White powder coated steel frame: sturdy and easy to wipe clean.
- Lightweight: 3kg, easy to move from bed to bed.
Is this bed cradle right for you?
- Usually suits: anyone who wants the weight of bedding kept off their feet and lower legs, at home or in care.
- Check first: the base slides under the mattress, so the mattress needs to sit on a flat base. Check the cradle height clears your feet and legs with the covers on.
- Not included: bedding and mattress.
We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider about the right bed aids for your needs.
Choosing the right height
- Lie in your usual position. Have someone measure from the top of the mattress to just above the highest point of your feet or knees.
- Allow room for the covers. The cradle needs to sit above that point, with space left for the bedding to drape.
- Compare with the range. The cradle adjusts from 54cm to 68cm high. Email us your measurement if you'd like us to check it.

| Cradle height | 54 to 68cm (adjustable) |
| Length above mattress | 71cm |
| Length under mattress | 55cm |

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Let customers speak for us
from 606 reviewsIt is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
Easy to find products online, ordering is very easy very competitive prices and extremely fast delivery
The Assistance Handle has been amazing for my husband who has just had a Quadricep Rupture repair. He used it to help him get in and out of the car whilst keeping his leg straight.
Grab Rail very suitable for our shower
Lightweight yet sturdy perfect for stability
Excellent, folds up neatly to fit in the boot of my daughter’s small car. Takes up little room when dining out.I feel very safe when walking.
