HT ACTIVE Sliding Tilt Table (Clear Span) - Hoist Access - Split Footplates
HT ACTIVE Sliding Tilt Table (Clear Span): a friction-free sliding top that moves with the patient, not just the frame
The HT ACTIVE Sliding Tilt Table (Clear Span) pairs the standard HT tilt table's electric height and tilt with a friction-free slide top, so the working surface itself moves independently of the base frame instead of staying fixed through the tilt cycle. Hoist access stays open underneath on the clear-span base, and split footplates give each foot its own +/-10° adjustment.
Lead time: Custom built to order by the manufacturer. Please allow up to 8 weeks for dispatch. Because it is made to your specification, this item is non-refundable for change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods still apply.
THIS PRODUCT MAY NOT BE RIGHT FOR YOU. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BEFORE PURCHASE.
Why You'll Love The HT ACTIVE Sliding Tilt Table (Clear Span)
- Friction-free slide top, locked in position when you need it. The top surface moves independently of the frame during tilt, and locks in various positions when you want a fixed working surface instead.
- Clear span base keeps hoist access open. The X-frame base leaves the floor underneath clear, so a mobile hoist can be brought in without repositioning the table first.
- Split footplates, set separately. Each footplate adjusts +/-10° plantar/dorsi flexion on its own, and both fold away to convert the table into a flat examination platform.
- One hand switch drives height and tilt. Both run independently or together, from any position around the table, through the full range to +85°.
Your clinic, with the HT ACTIVE Sliding Tilt Table (Clear Span)
Picture a session that starts with a hoist transfer: the clear-span base gives the hoist a straight run underneath, so your team isn't clearing the table or working around fixed legs first. Once the patient is positioned, the footplates set each foot's angle on its own, and the slide top means the working surface itself can move during the tilt cycle rather than holding the patient fixed against it. Shoulder horns adjust to support posture through the upper range, and an inclination indicator lets you read and record the tilt angle as the session runs. When the footplates aren't needed, they fold away and the same table doubles as a flat examination platform for the rest of the appointment.
The HT ACTIVE Sliding Tilt Table (Clear Span) in a nutshell
- Electric height and tilt adjustment: hand switch control, independently operated or combined, from any position around the table.
- Adjustable shoulder horns: removable and adjustable for posture support at higher tilt angles.
- Three patient safety straps: supplied as standard, with an inclination indicator to measure tilt angle.
- Australian designed and manufactured: backed by a 10-Year Structural warranty on the base and frame, plus 5-Year Electrical and 3-Year Upholstery cover.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

HT ACTIVE Sliding Tilt Table (Clear Span) - Hoist Access - Split Footplates Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 613 reviewsThe shopping experience with this company was very easy and straight forward. The product was delivered promptly which was great.
Love the soft medical sheepskin foot overlay. I’m at risk of pressure sores,so this is perfect for my feet. Customer service and delivery were first rate.
Very prompt delivery and it was free of charge as well, which is very nice
Very useful thing
Excellent service!
It is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
