Pinnacle Casting Chair - 90 Degree Seat Swivel w/Castors
The Pinnacle Casting Chair gives your plaster room a seat that turns to the limb instead of asking the patient to turn
Casting and splinting work goes faster when the chair adapts to the procedure, not the other way round. The Pinnacle Casting Chair is built for orthopaedic clinics, plaster rooms and hospital outpatient departments that need electric height control, a 90 degree seat swivel for clean access to the limb, and castors that lock down solid once you're in position.
Lead time: Custom built to order by the manufacturer. Please allow up to 8 weeks for dispatch. Because it is made to your specification, this item is non-refundable for change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods still apply.
Why You'll Love The Pinnacle Casting Chair
- Electric height adjustment on a hand switch means you bring the chair to a comfortable working height for the technician, so nobody's hunched over a cast for the length of a procedure.
- The 90 degree manual seat swivel rotates the patient in place, giving you access to the limb from a different angle without repositioning the whole chair or asking the patient to shuffle around.
- Individually lockable heavy duty castors let you wheel the chair into position between patients, then lock it down solid for a procedure that needs a stable base.
- The single heavy-duty column design keeps the lift mechanism clear of the working area, which helps reduce crush and pinch points around the chair during height changes.
Your plaster room, with the Pinnacle Casting Chair
Between patients, a casting chair either slows your list down or keeps it moving. With the Pinnacle, the hand switch brings the seat to height in seconds, the technician settles into a working position without stooping, and a quarter turn on the seat swivel puts the limb exactly where it needs to be for wrapping or trimming. When the procedure's done, unlock the castors, roll the chair clear, and bring the next patient straight in. It's built to keep pace with a plaster room's turnover, not become the bottleneck in it.
The Pinnacle Casting Chair in a nutshell
- Anti-microbial vinyl upholstery over CFC-free foam, so the seat wipes down cleanly between patients without holding onto odours or breaking down under daily use.
- Durable powder-coated, rust-resistant steel frame, built for daily clinic throughput rather than occasional use.
- Electrically operated column, engineered for low-maintenance daily lifting rather than a manual gas-strut mechanism.
- Australian designed and manufactured, backed by a 10-year structural warranty on the base and frame, 5-year electrical and 3-year upholstery warranty (parts only).

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Pinnacle Casting Chair - 90 Degree Seat Swivel w/Castors Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 613 reviewsThe shopping experience with this company was very easy and straight forward. The product was delivered promptly which was great.
Love the soft medical sheepskin foot overlay. I’m at risk of pressure sores,so this is perfect for my feet. Customer service and delivery were first rate.
Very prompt delivery and it was free of charge as well, which is very nice
Very useful thing
Excellent service!
It is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
