Rolyan Aquaplast-T Coated Thermoplastic Splinting Material Sheet
Aquaplast memory with a non-stick coating
Rolyan Aquaplast-T is the same material as Aquaplast Original, with a water-based non-stick coating added. You get full memory and the see-through look when soft, plus a sheet that won't bond to itself by accident while you work.
Why You'll Love The Rolyan Aquaplast-T
- Non-stick coating. Gives a temporary bond while warm that lets go once cool, so accidental contact is easy to undo.
- 100% memory. Reheat and reshape as often as the splint needs revising.
- Translucent when soft. Helps you spot pressure points and landmarks while moulding.
- Easy to keep clean. The coated surface is less porous, which suits splints worn long term.
Your day, with the Rolyan Aquaplast-T
Aquaplast-T sheets can be shaped for the hand, wrist, elbow and ankle. When you do want a permanent bond, remove the coating with spirits or by scratching the surface first.

Is it the right splinting material for you?
- A good fit: hand, wrist, elbow and ankle splints that may need revising, where you'd like a coated sheet that won't bond to itself by accident.
- Good to know: the coated surface is less porous and easier to clean, which suits long-term wear.
- Also consider: Aquaplast Original if you want an uncoated sheet that bonds instantly, or Aquaplast-T Watercolours for coloured sheets.
Thermoplastic sheets are made for therapists and clinicians who shape custom splints. For advice on which material suits a particular splint, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or hand therapist.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Rolyan Aquaplast-T Coated Thermoplastic Splinting Material Sheet Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 613 reviewsVery comfortable and it does what I need it to do. I like the removable washable cover.
The shopping experience with this company was very easy and straight forward. The product was delivered promptly which was great.
Love the soft medical sheepskin foot overlay. I’m at risk of pressure sores,so this is perfect for my feet. Customer service and delivery were first rate.
Very prompt delivery and it was free of charge as well, which is very nice
Very useful thing
Excellent service!
It is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
