Treat In Comfort With The SX Comfort Spa Chair
The SX Comfort Spa Chair gives your clients a comfortable seat for waxing, pedicures, facials and body treatments, and gives you the room and access to work properly around them from start to finish.
Lead time: Custom built to order by the manufacturer. Please allow up to 8 weeks for dispatch. Because it is made to your specification, this item is non-refundable for change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods still apply.
Why You'll Love The SX Comfort Spa Chair
- Electric height adjustment with a foot switch means you can raise or lower the chair mid-treatment without ever taking your hands off your work.
- The SX X-Frame lift action minimises pinch and crush points, built for a busy treatment room where hands and fabric brush past the frame all day.
- Heavy duty, individually lockable castors let you move the chair to the light or your kit, then lock it solid for the treatment.
- Anti-microbial vinyl and CFC-free foam mean you can wipe down fast between clients and keep every booking hygienic without added downtime.
Your Day, With The SX Comfort Spa Chair
Your first client settles in for a full body treatment, and a tap of the foot switch brings the chair to the exact working height you need, no lifting and no awkward crouching. Between appointments you wipe the vinyl down and you are ready for the next booking within minutes. When a pedicure client arrives you slide the side arm rests out of the way for easy access, then fit the overhead wing arm rests for a facial client who needs their arms supported through a longer treatment. By the end of the day the chair has moved with you around the room, stayed comfortable for every client, and locked down solid whenever you needed it to.
The SX Comfort Spa Chair In A Nutshell
- Removable Side and Wing Arm Rests - swap them in for manicures or overhead arm positioning, or remove them completely when a treatment needs full body access.
- Durable Powder Coated Rust Resistant Frame - built to handle daily salon use without corroding or chipping under constant cleaning.
- Australian Designed and Manufactured - backed by local support and parts rather than a warranty claim you have to chase overseas.
- 10 Year Structural Warranty - parts only, 10 years on the base and frame, 5 years electrical and 3 years upholstery, so your investment is protected long term.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

SX Comfort Spa Chair Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 613 reviewsThe shopping experience with this company was very easy and straight forward. The product was delivered promptly which was great.
Love the soft medical sheepskin foot overlay. I’m at risk of pressure sores,so this is perfect for my feet. Customer service and delivery were first rate.
Very prompt delivery and it was free of charge as well, which is very nice
Very useful thing
Excellent service!
It is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
