Why You'll Love The Ultimate Bariatric Bobath Table
- 350kg bariatric lifting capacity. The electric motor upgrade takes the standard 200kg lifting rating up to 350kg, so one table covers general and bariatric patients without a second purchase.
- Electric backrest from -30° to +80°. Height and backrest adjust at the touch of a hand switch, with a foot switch upgrade available, so staff reposition patients quickly between sessions.
- Low 510mm minimum height. The table drops low enough for easy wheelchair transfers and floor level access, with 160mm of hoist clearance built in.
- Two width options. Order the frame at 1210mm standard or 1010mm, so the table actually fits your treatment room instead of the other way around.
Your life, with the Ultimate Bariatric Bobath Table
Picture a full clinic day where every patient, regardless of size, gets the same standard of care. A bariatric patient arrives for their appointment and the table lowers to 510mm at the press of a switch, letting them transfer across with minimal lifting. The electric backrest brings them from flat to a supported 80 degree position without a single manual crank. Between sessions, the table's individually lockable castors let staff reposition it in seconds, and the X-frame base keeps hands well clear of pinch points during every height change. By the end of the day, your team has moved from patient to patient without reaching for a second table or calling in extra hands.
The Ultimate Bariatric Bobath Table in a nutshell
- X-frame lift with no pinch points. The scissor free X-frame base raises and lowers the table without exposing staff or patients to crush points during operation.
- Hand switch control, foot switch optional. Height and backrest run from a hand switch as standard, with a foot switch upgrade available for hands free operation during treatment.
- Heavy duty lockable castors. Each castor locks individually, so the table stays put during transfers and rolls freely once you're ready to reposition it.
- Australian designed and manufactured. Built and backed locally, with a 10-year structural warranty on the base and frame plus 5 year electrical and 3 year upholstery cover.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Confident, Safe Bariatric Patient Handling with the Ultimate Bariatric Bobath Table
The Ultimate Bariatric Bobath Table gives rehabilitation wards, physiotherapy rooms and allied health practices an electric backrest plinth rated to a genuine 350kg lifting capacity, without the size or price tag of a full hi-capacity bariatric table.
Lead time: Custom built to order by the manufacturer. Please allow up to 8 weeks for dispatch. Because it is made to your specification, this item is non-refundable for change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods still apply.
THIS PRODUCT MAY NOT BE RIGHT FOR YOU. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BEFORE PURCHASE.

Ultimate Bariatric Bobath Table - Two Section Electric Backrest Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 613 reviewsThe shopping experience with this company was very easy and straight forward. The product was delivered promptly which was great.
Love the soft medical sheepskin foot overlay. I’m at risk of pressure sores,so this is perfect for my feet. Customer service and delivery were first rate.
Very prompt delivery and it was free of charge as well, which is very nice
Very useful thing
Excellent service!
It is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
