Vulkan Industrial Back Support with Shoulder Straps, Small, Black
Lower back support for active work with the Vulkan Industrial Back Support
The Vulkan Industrial Back Support is made to give lower back support and help prevent injury while you carry on with daily activity. It is 22.8cm high, with a vented mesh body, tensed side-pulls, shoulder straps and four stay inserts to support the lower back. This listing is the small size in black.
Why You'll Love The Vulkan Industrial Back Support
- Firm support for the lower back. Four stay inserts give steady support across the lower back.
- Set your own compression. Tensed side-pulls let you draw the support in as firmly as you need.
- Stays where you put it. Shoulder straps help hold the support in position while you bend and move.
- Breathable for long shifts. The highly vented mesh lets air through, so it stays comfortable for longer.
Your day, with the Vulkan Industrial Back Support
Your lower back does a lot of the heavy lifting, at work and at home. Fasten the support, pull the side-pulls to a firm, comfortable level and clip the shoulder straps on. The support stays in place as you work, and the mesh keeps things cooler through the day.
The Vulkan Industrial Back Support in a nutshell
- Vented mesh: a highly breathable body for all-day wear.
- Tensed side-pulls: add compression and support when you want it.
- Four stays with plastic rods: extra support for the lower back.
- Intra-abdominal pressure: designed to provide pressure against spinal instability.
Is it the right back support for you?
- A good fit: lower back support for active work, with side-pulls you tighten and shoulder straps that hold it in place while you bend.
- Check the size first: this listing is the Small only, and our supplier doesn't give a measurement range for it. Email us your waist measurement and we'll confirm it fits before you order.
- Check with your healthcare provider first: about how long to wear it each day.
Every body and every injury is different, so we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or physiotherapist about whether this support is right for you and how long to wear it.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Let customers speak for us
from 606 reviewsIt is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
Easy to find products online, ordering is very easy very competitive prices and extremely fast delivery
The Assistance Handle has been amazing for my husband who has just had a Quadricep Rupture repair. He used it to help him get in and out of the car whilst keeping his leg straight.
Grab Rail very suitable for our shower
Lightweight yet sturdy perfect for stability
Excellent, folds up neatly to fit in the boot of my daughter’s small car. Takes up little room when dining out.I feel very safe when walking.
