Marine First Aid Kit for Boats | Navigator Scale D
A Scale D Marine First Aid Kit for Boats and Vessels
The Navigator Scale D Marine First Aid Kit gives commercial and recreational vessels a complete first aid kit in one hard case. It is built around the Australian National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV), so operators have a clear way to work toward Scale D guidance.
Ready for Treating Injuries on Board
The kit is set up for cuts, grazes, burns, eye injuries and larger wounds, with dressings, bandages, eyewash, a CPR mask and a thermal blanket all in one place. It suits 25 people in a high risk setting or 50 people in a low risk setting.
Why This Kit Covers You
- Wound dressings, non-adherent pads and combine dressings in several sizes, so you can match the dressing to the wound instead of improvising with whatever is in the tackle box, which means even a deep laceration gets treated properly until you reach shore.
- 20 sodium chloride eyewash ampoules with non-adherent eye pads, ready to flush salt spray or a chemical splash out of an eye at the rail, so a stinging eye does not turn into a lost afternoon or an unplanned trip to a doctor.
- Aluminium foam splints, a thermal blanket and amputated parts bags, giving you the gear for a genuine trauma, not just cuts and scrapes, so a broken limb or a serious injury is managed properly until help arrives.
- Stainless steel forceps, scissors, universal shears and scalpel blades, so your crew reaches for proper medical tools instead of a pocket knife, which matters when you need to cut away clothing or wet gear from an injury.
- A CPR mask, CPR flow chart, first aid booklet and register of injuries, so whoever is giving first aid has a script to follow and a record to fill in afterwards, not just a box of supplies and no plan.
Easy to Carry and Easy to Find
The bright hard case has a carry handle, so you can take the kit to the person who needs it. The layout inside keeps items organised so you can find what you need quickly.
Who This Kit Suits
Scale D suits vessels that need a solid mid tier commercial grade kit: day trip charter boats, dive boats, ferries and similar craft carrying passengers, rated for 25 people in a high risk setting or 50 people in a low risk setting. It is a supplies kit and does not include scheduled medications, which typically start appearing in the higher lettered scales built for longer voyages or higher risk operations.
If your vessel's survey classification calls for a higher scale, see our Navigator Scale E Marine First Aid Kit instead, or contact us and we will help you confirm which scale your vessel needs.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Australian owned and operated by David Thiu, Mobility Shop Direct was founded in 2019 to help all Australians find the right Mobility Aids to maintain their Mobility and Independence.
Whilst working as a Locum Pharmacist throughout Australia, David noticed that many of his patients were frustrated by how hard it was to find mobility aids and by the lack of information available. Most Pharmacies either did not stock any Mobility Aids, or those that did only had a limited range available, with many staff members insufficiently trained. Even when shopping online, most of the sites that did sell mobility aids were difficult to navigate, did not provide enough educational material to assist with the buying process, and did not have a wide enough selection.
To fill this gap in the market, David spent hundreds of hours researching, writing buying guides, and building this brand new site that you're on now. Thanks to David you can now shop, browse and learn about Mobility Aids all in one place in the comfort of your own home, and even have everything delivered to your doorsteps!
Today, we stay true to our roots and are online-only. We plan to stay that way in order to offer our customers the lowest possible factory-direct prices, fastest shipping times, and world-class customer service by phone, email, and live chat. Operating online-only means we can offer all this without sacrificing any of the things that made us excited to start this business in the first place like being able to travel and help people all over the world.
How We Give Back To The Community:
We love to give back to our community. Our love for Mobility Aids extends far beyond our local community. We've partnered with Variety to help Children live a better life with the help of Mobility Aids. It's amazing what a difference a Mobility Aid can make to a person's life. Watch this video to learn more about what Variety does for children and families in Australia.
Please consider donating to our fundraising campaign for the Variety. All proceeds go to help children in need to help them gain Mobility, Self Esteem, and Independence.

Marine First Aid Kit for Boats | Navigator Scale D Reviews
Let customers speak for us
from 606 reviewsIt is great just what I wanted
Very very good. Worth the money
A message from the delivery firm the day before with even a am/pm delivery plan would have helped me rearrange a meeting more easily
My brother, just recently arrived in Aged Care, had an old walker which had given good service. He is now less able to get around and the old walker had iffy brakes. So we borrowed another inmate’s “Rolls Royce” Drive walker and he was rapt! Could adjust the arms himself, partner could toss it into her car and the brakes were much easier to use. All in all 10/10!
Definitely 5 star product! Sturdy, glides smoothly, attractive, packaged extraordinarily well and delivered super quickly! Forget flat-packs! Pay for a good quality piece of furniture!
Very helpful. And order was quickly dispatched
Exactly what advertised and exactly what we needed
Great - easy ordering and fully met expectations
I ordered a bedside cabinet on wheels for my 96yr old mum. I did not want a flat pack. I wanted a sturdy, well-made & nice looking piece of furniture. I ordered online. I’m VERY pleased with what I received. Delivery free & arrived here Newcastle in three days. Delivery guy brought it inside & unpacked it for me. The packaging was PRIMO. I cannot overstate how well it was packaged. There was zero chance it would ever get damaged in transit. I attached the three handles which were provided with extra screws AND a screw driver (nice). The cabinet is attractive, moves easily on it’s castors & has a lip around the top to stop items falling off. Quality product well worth the investment. A++++++
Really good quality
Easy to find products online, ordering is very easy very competitive prices and extremely fast delivery
The Assistance Handle has been amazing for my husband who has just had a Quadricep Rupture repair. He used it to help him get in and out of the car whilst keeping his leg straight.
Grab Rail very suitable for our shower
Lightweight yet sturdy perfect for stability
Excellent, folds up neatly to fit in the boot of my daughter’s small car. Takes up little room when dining out.I feel very safe when walking.
